The official Twitter account of Nvidia @NVIDIAGeForce has published a link of product list consisting GeForce RTX 2070 with tentative price and availability on 17th October 2018. These cards also contain RT cores that enhanced ray tracing abilities with 8 GB GDDR6 graphical memory with the speed of 14 Gbps. We have to wait for the actual performance of the cards because the fact is ray-traced games aren’t released yet and the performance related information hasn’t shared by Nvidia yet. According to the official announcement of last month the cards are as follows.
-GeForce RTX 2070 Founders Edition, Base Clock: 1410 MHz & Boost Clock: 1710 MHz (OC), 8 GB GDDR6
-GeForce RTX 2070, Base Clock: 1410 MHz & Boost Clock: 1620 MHz, 8 GB GDDR6
The diagram of the card shows that this new version will lack the NVLink connectors that were available for GeForce GTX 1070 models. The option of multi-graphics card setups becoming lesser due to limited support from the software side, but enthusiasts certainly aren’t pleased with this feature.
