An interesting rumor has appeared in recent days from CES that AMD boss Lisa Su might become the new CEO of Intel. If she does not show any interest Intel might buys AMD.
Who will be the Next CEO of Intel
The former CEO Brian Krzanich was removed from the company due to some internal affair, since then the company is running without a permanent CEO. After that, Robert Swan has held the position as interim CEO for six months. Apparently, Intel has been trying to find their new CEO and it was to be filled internally but no one has come out. An extremely curious rumor is now spreading that they might go for their competitor’s staff.
AMD’s Boss Lisa Su as Intel’s CEO or they will buy the Company
According to the rumor from CES, Intel intends to recruit the current AMD CEO Lisa Su, who has been with AMD since 2012 and took over as CEO in 2014. It is a common practice of hiring personnel from other companies at management level. However, the analysts said that Intel would even be willing to buy AMD for this purpose. But we have enough doubt on that takeover rumors because one hand Intel would have to buy company worth 62.8 billion US dollars, on the other hand authorities would hardly approve an acquisition that encourages monopoly in the x86 processor sector. There might be a slight truth, as Intel has already shown interest in Lisa Su as CEO but has already been rejected.
Would the Best Company have Lisa Su
Intel has recently fetched several AMD managers; would Lisa Su be the part of the company. Raja Koduri, the former head of the Radeon Technology Group had taken the charge of Intel’s graphics division since 2018. Currently he is working on the graphics cards with the name Intel Xe that might come on the market by 2020.
