With the Eclipse P500A D-RGB, PHANTEKS offers a spacious and versatile mid-tower chassis. This PC enclosure is suitable for high-performance hardware and large radiators. Its tempered glass side panel provides a clear view at the built-in components and the mesh front in combination with various ventilation cutouts ensures an excellent airflow. The pre-installed fans and light strips with digitally addressable RGB lighting illuminate the front and left side of the case.

PHANTEKS equips the Eclipse P500A D-RGB with extensive options for placing enclosure fans. In total, up to seven 120mm or six 140mm fans can be mounted to the case: three 120mm or 140mm models to the front, three 120mm or two 140mm fans to the roof, and one 120mm or 140mm to the rear. CPU coolers can be up to 190mm tall. Three 140mm fans with digitally addressable RGB lighting are pre-installed to the front of the chassis. The PHANTEKS P500A also supports liquid cooling: A 360mm or 420mm triple radiator can be installed to the front, a 360mm triple or 280mm dual radiator to the roof and a 120mm or 140mm single radiator to the rear. The case also provides a cutout for the drain port at the front. Since the chassis corresponds to the Enthoo Evolv X and Eclipse P600S, the Glacier D140 distribution plate (item no.: WAAU-534) can also be mounted to the rear panel.

The Eclipse P500A D-RGB also inherited the possibility to accommodate numerous drives. With the included modular drive cages, two 3.5/2.5-inch drives can be installed underneath the PSU shroud. Three more 2.5-inch drives can be mounted to the back of the motherboard tray. With separately available accessories, two additional 3.5/2.5-inch cages can be placed underneath the PSU shroud and six more can be mounted to the right of the motherboard. The corresponding brackets (GEPH-093) are available from PHANTEKS as accessories. The PHANTEKS Eclipse P500A D-RGB does not support optical drives.

The PHANTEKS Eclipse P500A D-RGB boasts an appealing, straightforward design in black with the digitally addressable RGB lighting of the three pre-installed 140mm fans illuminating the case's mesh front. On the left side of the case, the RGB trim at the upper edge of the PSU shroud is visible through the tempered glass side panel. The I/O panel on the roof of the PHANTEKS Eclipse P500A D-RGB provides one USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a power button. It also provides a combined 3.5mm audio jack (TRRS) for headsets, as well as a colour and mode button for the integrated RGB controller. The RGB controller works autonomously, but it can also be connected to a motherboard using a 3-pin addressable RGB connector to control the lighting via ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASRock Polychrome Sync and Gigabyte RGB Fusion.

The PHANTEKS Eclipse P500A D-RGB provides seven horizontal slots for expansion cards. If there are no HDD brackets and fans installed to the front, up to 435mm long graphics cards are supported. With fans installed, the maximum supported length of graphics cards is 410mm. Three vertical expansion slots allow for a graphics card to be installed vertically.
